Join Amplify Austin and Impact Austin!

Amplify Austin is taking place next week from 6 pm March 2 to 6 pm March 3, 2017.

This annual, online, city-wide day of giving provides an easy and fun way to give to the causes we all love and admire. And the results have been spectacular! Over the past four years Amplify Austin has raised over $24.7 million for hundreds of local organizations. In 2016 alone, $8.5 million was raised for over 600 Central Texas nonprofit organizations. This year the goal is even greater – to raise over $9.5 million for the close to 900 organizations who have registered.

When deliberating about which of your favorite nonprofit organizations are worthy of your donations, we hope you’ll consider giving to Impact Austin. As our supporters know, we’ve given more than $5.5 million in annual, high-impact grants to local nonprofits to support substantive changes for the lives of those in our community. We’re very excited to announce a $3,000 Challenge Grant contributed by Impact Austin members to get the effort underway. All donations received for Impact Austin through the Amplify Austin campaign between 6:00 pm on March 2nd and 6:00 pm on March 3rd will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $3,000!

Funds generated through Amplify Austin will be used to support upgrades and integration of our technology including our SalesForce, Constant Contact and Office 365 databases. Increased efficiency and streamlined operations will result in time savings so our volunteers can stay focused on the important grant making work for the Central Texas community.

If you’re new to Amplify Austin, you may have some questions:

  • So, how do I give?
    Go to the Amplify Austin website and search for nonprofits you want to learn more about through their organization’s overview, or to donate. You can search either by nonprofit name or keywords.
     
  • What’s new from last year?
    New this year, Amplify Austin offers the option to make recurring, automated, online donations to a nonprofit on a regular schedule. You can set up your donations to take place either monthly or quarterly. This is a convenient way to extend the payments of the total amount you want to donate to a nonprofit organization.
     
  • Can I give to more than one nonprofit?
    Yes! You can load up your cart of many different nonprofits to receive your donations. Each donation is restricted for that nonprofit alone. When ready, you can make one payment.
     
  • Will my donation be 100% tax deductible?
    Yes. And, you’ll receive an immediate thank you and tax receipt for 100% of your donations. Be sure to print them for your records.
     
  • When will the nonprofits receive their donations?
    The charities you selected will receive your donations within 4 weeks.
     
  • Do I have to wait to donate?
    No! You can go to Amplify Austin’s website today or at any time to donate to your selected nonprofits, including Impact Austin. While you can give today, your credit card will not be charged until Amplify Day and your donation will still count towards receipts for our $3,000 Challenge Grant.
